The Program: Come and join us for this workshop and learn how to plant California natives at three different planting sites in Belvedere. These sites are being cleared of invasive plants in preparation for planting California native seeds and bulbs.

This workshop is associated with the “California Natives” seminar held on November 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Belvedere City Hall, 450 San Rafael Avenue, Belvedere.

The Speakers:  Anne-Marie Walker is a Marin Master Gardener and is UC certified to teach Sustainable Landscapes and Edible Landscapes classes. She has written an article recently in the Marin Independent Journal titled “California Natives.”

Volunteer Hours: 3 hours

Parking:  Marin Master Gardener Adam Garver will be at the front door of city hall from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. to direct you to a planting site for the workshop. Parking is very limited at the planting sites and we encourage you to walk to your assigned location.  
Residents, please walk or carpool to your assigned planting site after reporting in at city all, see information under Location.

Marin Master Gardeners, please report to the Strawberry Shopping Center to carpool to your assigned planting site.
