Community Clubs

4-H2 copy

Community Clubs are led by volunteer adult leaders who organize the club and serve as the key contact between the club and 4-H Office. Clubs may be general with several projects, or may be a specific project club. Clubs are established where volunteers are available. As a result, there may not be clubs in every geographical area of the county. Adult leaders and members may join any club in the county. Most clubs hold monthly business meetings, with project meetings varying from club to club.

Currently, there are eight community clubs. These are general clubs (with a variety of projects) in Novato, San Rafael and West Marin. There are also special project clubs, including horse and shooting sports. Clubs conduct monthly business and project meetings during the school year. Dates and times vary from club to club. Participants complete an individual enrollment form and pay county and state fees. Fees are $40.00 for members, $14.00 for leaders.

Please do not enroll your child until AFTER you have
talked to and met with the Club
