ACTIVITIES
There are many amazing activities and traditions at Marin 4-H camp including archery, arts and crafts, hiking, outdoor cooking, nightly campfires with skits, songs, and more. Campers are organized into tribes of different ages and meet regularly, compete, and perform together throughout the week. Adult chaperone's oversee camp and youth staff lead and manage nearly all aspects of daily life throughout the week including special events like the dance, carnival, talent show, and scavenger hunt. Youth/Teen Staff work together to lead and provide a magical experience for each other and campers! Campers and staff sleep in cabins and eat communally in the dining hall. Camp is about having fun, doing activities, and learning about self, others and the natural world in an experiential way that is both structured and unstructured.
*Camp is a sensory rich environment with a mix of structured and unstructured time. If you have any concerns about your child’s needs and ability to exercise sound judgment to support his/her/their health and safety in this type of setting and program, please contact us at Marin4HCamp@gmail.com. We aim to support all youth to have a successful and positive experience.
