The Marin County 4-H program helps young people, ages 5-18, reach their fullest potential as competent, confident individuals who contribute to and are connected with their communities. In 4-H programs, youth set goals, develop plans, complete projects, and reflect on their experiences. Youth are encouraged to discover their passions, adopt a growth mindset, and practice self-reflection. Read more in the UC 4-H Family Handbook

YOUTH (that are aged 5 to 18) 

  1. Look at the Marin County 4-H Club Project Catalog 2024-2025(English Version), Catálogo de Proyectos Marin 4-H 2024-2025(Versión en Español Próximamente) select the various project you would like to do. Continue to check the website for the 4-H winter supplement for projects starting in January 2025!
  2. Please continue to the youth project selection survey using the link:  Access 2024-2025 Project Selections Here 
      
  3. Parents/guardians submit 4-H youth member enrollment online at https://4h.zsuite.org/.
      
  4. Parents/guardians communicate with 4-H project leader(s). Either email them or wait to be contacted and reminded about meeting dates, times, and locations.

Unified Marin County 4-H club and VMO will have two meetings at the larger club level through out the program year. Save the dates to your calendar! 2024-2025 dates coming soon! Each Community Group (Novato, San Rafael, West Marin, Sausalito/Marin City) will have monthly or quarterly meetings, dates to be determined. 

    1.  November 16th- Marin County 4-H Club Holiday Project Party
    2. May 17th- Marin County 4-H Club End of Year Potluck & Field Day Gathering

ADULT (must be at least 18 years old)

  1. Consider your strengths and expertise.
    What 4-H project area can you organize a sequence of 6 or more hours of meetings, field trips, guest speakers, and related activities to help youth deepen their knowledge and skills?
      
  2. Contact the Marin County 4-H Program Coordinator to discuss your role. 
      
  3. Complete the interest survey at  https://ucanr.edu/marinvolunteer.
