Under the supervision of the Director of NPI's CalFresh Healthy Living Evaluation Unit, the Unit Manager will provide overall coordination and management of the Unit's projects and activities that aim to understand the process, outcomes, and impact of the CalFresh Healthy Living program. The Unit manager will ensure the activities defined in NPI's contract with the California Department of Public Health are executed and deliverables are met in a timely and rigorous fashion. The Unit Manager will develop internal policies and procedures and ensure their effective implementation. They will work closely with NPI's operations team to develop annual budgets and track expenses. They will coordinate and support evaluation research projects and dissemination of findings. The Unit Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
The home department for this position is Nutrition Policy Institute. While this position normally is based at 1111 FRANKLIN STREET, Oakland, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by the University.
Pay Scale: $82,900/yr. to $117,600/yr.
