Purpose
The Marin County Fish and Wildlife Commission is dedicated to preparing future leaders in the field of fish and wildlife conservation to address current and emerging challenges and benefit current and future wildlife populations and habitat in Marin. The Commission recommends this scholarship annually to invest in the future of fish and wildlife conservation, habitat preservation and restoration, and natural resource management by supporting the selected recipient’s education and career plans.
The Commission is motivated to support students that are orientated to fish and wildlife conservation and assist students from diverse backgrounds to overcome potential barriers to education and training in the fish and wildlife sciences.
