Our Mission

Our mission is to sustain a vital agriculture, environment, and community in Marin County by providing University of California research-based information in agriculture, natural resource management, healthy living, and youth development. We consult with individuals and organizations, publish newsletters, produce information for mass media, and conduct seminars and workshops.

Are you a lifelong learner and keen gardener who enjoys sharing what you know with others in the community? Join the UC Marin Master Gardeners!

In addition to sharing research-based knowledge of horticulture and sustainable gardening practices with home gardeners in Marin, they also support the creation of local food sources and conduct community outreach through the Help Desk, social and print media, farmers' markets, talks and demonstrations, and community and school projects.
